AWS Architect

Project description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a multi-region disaster recovery architecture, AWS Outposts hybrid deployment, and cross-cloud Azure Blob Safe Harbor integration. The architect will be responsible for end-to-end technical leadership, working closely with engineering teams to deliver a resilient, compliant, and operationally mature platform across AWS eu-west-2, eu-west-1, AWS Outposts, and Azure Blob Storage.

Responsibilities

• Configure and validate a resilient three-tier hybrid architecture across an already-deployed AWS Outposts rack, pre-existing AWS accounts, and an established AWS-to-Azure connectivity pattern. Scope covers workload configuration, cross-region data replication, Azure Blob safe harbor integration, observability, and knowledge transfer.

Must have

• 8+ years cloud architecture experience
• 5+ years AWS architecture experience
• Understanding of Capital Markets and Market Infrastructure providers
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Multi-region AWS architecture design
• AWS networking (VPC, TGW, routing)
• Disaster Recovery architecture
• Cross-region database replication
• AWS security architecture
• Azure Blob Storage integration
• Cross-cloud architecture experience
• AWS Global Accelerator experience
• AWS DataSync
• Step Functions / Lambda orchestration
• GDPR / regulated environment experience
