Site Engineer - Civils Project (Portishead)
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering a large-scale civils scheme, supporting the site team across a range of infrastructure works. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-profile project with a strong pipeline of activity.
Scope of Works
- Enabling works
- Construction of new access roads
- Section 278 (S278) highway works, including:
- Road widening
- New junctions and roundabouts
- Kerbing and drainage installation
- Street lighting installation and upgrades
- Traffic signage and road markings
- Traffic management implementation
- Utility diversions and service coordination
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
- Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
- Supporting the delivery of works to programme
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civils projects
- Strong background in highways and/or groundworks
- Experience delivering S278 works is highly desirable
