About The Role

We have a brand‑new opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Leeds with a focus on healthcare buildings. You will be based in Leeds but work across the wider UK.

Our goal is to transform healthcare facilities to be more welcoming while meeting clinical standards. The delivery of a safe, secure and healing environment is the top priority.

Responsibilities

• Client‑facing role: attend project meetings and disseminate the brief within the team.
• Lead the development of initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions meet the brief and regulatory standards.
• Deliver solid technical work, either alone or as part of a team.
• Mentor junior staff and help them develop their skills.
• Collaborate with the firm‑wide group to share knowledge.
• Monitor fee expenditure, resources and delivered work.
• Explore new ways of working, innovation and research.
• Maintain a high reputation and ensure adherence to QM and risk control procedures.

About You

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or closely related role, delivering complex projects in the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other mechanical services.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary environments with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and relevant software.
• Self‑awareness, open mind and generosity.
• Knowledge of British Standards.
• Consultancy experience and appreciation of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering and computer modelling.
