Role Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our rapidly expanding team. We are looking for a well-rounded Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of the electrical delivery of projects from concept through to commissioning and start of production.
The role focuses on overseeing all electrical aspects of project execution, including panel build, electrical installation, and material flow for both workshop and on-site teams. You will work closely with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate the electrical scope of works, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and customer requirements.
You will be responsible for managing the electrical lifecycle of projects, including resource planning, procurement of materials, and ensuring all electrical deliverables meet required standards and specifications. This includes maintaining effective control of electrical materials from design through to installation and commissioning.
You will plan and coordinate on-site electrical activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, in line with health and safety requirements, and to project specifications. This includes monitoring on-site installations, supporting installation teams, and ensuring quality and progress are maintained.
Working alongside the Project Manager, you will identify and mitigate project risks, particularly in relation to electrical scope, integration, and delivery. You will also support the development of project plans, track progress, and ensure any issues are addressed early.
The role requires clear communication with internal teams, workshop staff, site personnel, and customers to ensure expectations are met and projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
