- Experience in the specification and integration of sensors, actuators and controllers into mechanical systems.
- Demonstrable experience of developing datalogging and control algorithms, including analysis of feedback systems.
- Experience of troubleshooting complex electro‑mechanical behaviour, analysing root causes and translating these back to expertise teams.
- Experience in medical device development (ISO13485) and risk management processes (ISO14971).
- Understanding of and demonstrable experience of working within multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Mentoring and management of junior team members.
- Excellent presentation skills including written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client relationship management (ideally consultancy experience).
- Experience in leading projects, taking responsibility for delivery quality outputs on time and on budget.
The salary for this role is in line with our Senior salary band, from £51,000 to £73,954. Please note we ask you to provide your expected salary within the band as part of your application, this helps us understand how you view your experience against the role's scope.
