Senior / Principal Civil Design Engineer – Water (AMP)
We’re currently recruiting a Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineer to support AMP water and wastewater projects as part of a busy integrated design team.
This is a 6‑month rolling contract with a high probability of work through to AMP9, offering genuine continuity rather than a short-term patch.
Key Info:
- Contract: 6 months rolling
- Rate: £DOE per hour
- Location: West Yorkshire – 3 days per week in office
- Sector: UK Water (Clean & Wastewater)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver civil design on water and wastewater projects
- Work across feasibility, concept and detailed design
- Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary teams
- Check and approve designs, mentor junior engineers
- Ensure compliance with UK water industry standards
Experience Required:
- Proven UK water sector experience
- Civil design experience across water / wastewater infrastructure
- Comfortable working in a hybrid, office‑based environment
