Job Title: AV Systems Integration Engineer
Location: UK (with domestic and international travel)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated AV Systems Integration Engineer to join our engineering team. In this crucial role, you will work alongside a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting‑edge AV systems across a range of exciting industries, including sports, corporate, experiential, and broadcast. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, from immersive installations to large‑scale stadium systems, and to work on high‑profile projects across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and technical delivery of AV systems from initial client discussions to project handover.
- Validate design and tender information to ensure alignment with the client’s intended functionality.
- Manage all project deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including cable schedules, schematics, rack layouts, and projection studies, using AutoCAD.
- Maintain a clear and organized bill of materials, managing changes and ensuring all team members are updated.
- Conduct site surveys to understand project scope and limitations before installation, including taking measurements and coordinating with site teams.
- Lead internal project meetings, working with project managers, procurement teams, and colleagues to track project status and resolve ongoing issues.
- Ensure smooth project handover, ensuring clients are satisfied with the installed systems.
- Provide pre‑sales technical support as needed.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes by identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
- Stay informed about AV industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
What You Need To Succeed:
- At least 6 years of experience in AV, construction, or technical project delivery.
- Experience across multiple markets, such as experiential, virtual production, sports, broadcast, and corporate.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of project goals, risks, and how to deliver on them or mitigate them.
- Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to non‑technical team members and clients.
- Self‑driven and able to work effectively in a team.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD), Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Solid knowledge of construction management, with experience collaborating with contractors and architects.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with 3D design and Revit/BIM software.
- CTS Certification.
- Experience with complex projection systems.
