Job Summary

• Job Title: Assistant Superintendent

• Location: Bukit Batok

• Working Hours: Mon–Thu 8:30AM–6:30PM, Fri 8:30AM–5:30PM

Main Responsibilities

• Supporting the Superintendent in overseeing daily operations and overall management of the welfare home.

• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., MSF guidelines, Destitute Persons Act, PDPA).

• Supervising staff, resident care, and facility standards to maintain a safe and well-managed environment.

• Managing programmes, services, and administrative processes within the home.

• Supporting financial and operational governance in line with regulatory requirements.

• Implementing improvements based on audit findings and board recommendations.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (or relevant experience in social services).
• 1+ year of supervisory / leadership experience.
• Strong communication, writing, and administrative skills.
• Experience in operations, compliance, or welfare home / healthcare setting preferred.
• Good team management, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to support occasional weekend or evening duties when required.
• Require rotating shift work, which may include weekends, night shifts, and public holidays
