Job Title: Assistant Superintendent
Industry: Healthcare / Social Services (Welfare Home)
Location: Bukit Batok
Working Hours: Mon–Thu 8:30AM–6:30PM, Fri 8:30AM–5:30PM
Main Responsibilities
Supporting the Superintendent in overseeing daily operations and overall management of the welfare home.
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., MSF guidelines, Destitute Persons Act, PDPA).
Supervising staff, resident care, and facility standards to maintain a safe and well-managed environment.
Managing programmes, services, and administrative processes within the home.
Supporting financial and operational governance in line with regulatory requirements.
Implementing improvements based on audit findings and board recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (or relevant experience in social services).
- 1+ year of supervisory / leadership experience.
- Strong communication, writing, and administrative skills.
- Experience in operations, compliance, or welfare home / healthcare setting preferred.
- Good team management, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to support occasional weekend or evening duties when required.
- Require rotating shift work, which may include weekends, night shifts, and public holidays
