The Position: We’re looking for an Engagement and Progression Tutor. Are you a skilled and compassionate practitioner who believes that the right teaching, routines and support can help young people re-engage with learning and realise their potential?
We are looking for an outstanding Engagement and Progression Tutor to join our new provision at Wigston. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front in a role that combines teaching, structure, aspiration and support. You will deliver the core Personal and Social Development curriculum, help learners develop confidence and readiness, and work alongside colleagues to prepare young people for successful next steps in education, training and employment.
This role would suit someone who is calm, resilient and ambitious for learners, and who understands how to build engagement with young people who may have experienced disrupted education and barriers to participation.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis until July 2027, with the potential for continuation beyond this date, subject to organisational requirements and funding.
The Location: The role is based at our Wigston Campus.

The Pay Range We’re Offering Is
F – I, points 21–36 (£26,732 - £41,582)
