Key Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including quality plans and specifications
- Manage technical queries in line with established processes and standards
- Support contractor selection and contract placement activities
- Review contractor designs, drawings, and technical submissions
- Conduct technical appraisals and evaluate project options
- Perform feasibility studies, site surveys, and stakeholder liaison
- Prepare and manage engineering change documentation
- Lead commissioning documentation and testing activities where required
- Support project delivery to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness
- Collaborate with project and construction teams across the lifecycle
Qualifications & Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status or HNC qualification
- SMSTS certification
- Experience in highly regulated environments with strong safety standards
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and construction project delivery
- Understanding of safety, environmental, and quality compliance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience in power generation or nuclear sites (desirable)
- Ability to manage technical documentation and stakeholders effectively
