The Role
An experienced Data Analyst is required to support operational and leadership teams by turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and seeing the direct impact of their work across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse operational, preparation and service‑centre data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
- Process‑map the end‑to‑end operational journey, highlighting inefficiencies and areas for enhancement
- Build, maintain and improve interactive dashboards and reports to support real-time decision making
- Work closely with leadership and operational teams to deliver actionable insights that drive performance and profitability
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across multiple systems
- Identify gaps in current systems and data usage, supporting business cases for improvement
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within retail or manufacturing
- Advanced Power BI experience (2+ years essential)
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to interrogate full databases
- Strong Excel capability
- Experience analysing large, complex datasets
- Confident data visualisation skills
- An inquisitive, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving ability
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical insight for non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong organisation and time‑management skills
- Familiarity with databases and data warehousing concepts
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle

- Python experience
- Exposure to project management or change initiatives
