About the Role

We're hiring a Principal Safety Architect to join our Systems Engineering team based in London.

What You'll Do

  • Lead top-level hazard analysis for bipedal humanoid systems in home environments.
  • Map ISO/UL compliance requirements and maintain the system safety concept.
  • Establish gating criteria for safety milestones.
  • Oversee safety requirements cascade across perception, control, and hardware.
  • Coordinate the safety certification pathway with notified bodies.
  • Integrate safety considerations into simulation, hardware, and control subsystems.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in robotics or safety-critical systems.
  • Proven track record in functional safety (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 13482).
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong systems engineering background.
  • Prior experience with safety case development and certification processes
