Job Title: Automation Tester

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: Competitive + package (dependent on experience)

Hybrid Working: This role requires working from the Newcastle Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

Job Qualifications

• Experience automating functional testing of SaaS software, writing scripts in Java
• Experience with test tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Rest-assured, or Wiremock
• Experience designing and conducting manual testing with users, understanding requirements and differentiating defects from enhancements
• Proven track record of testing software developments in a structured environment
• Complete understanding of the defect‑management lifecycle and knowledge of one or more defect‑management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla or HP ALM

• Proven history of working within a complex and diverse delivery environment
• Experience working in an Agile (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe) environment or teams
