Overview
As a Project Control Officer you will support the delivery of project plans and objectives, ensuring projects are set up accurately and maintained throughout the life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Use robust version controls for file management.
- Organise and minute key meetings and provide high-quality secretariat support.
- Monitor relevant spend, contribute to budgets, and keep invoicing and re-profiling up to date.
- Maintain project controls and produce accurate and timely reports.
- Support the creation and maintenance of risk and issue logs.
- Raise requisitions, work on purchase orders, and exchange billing and cost-management information with colleagues.
- Ensure closure activities are completed in accordance with commercial process requirements.
Qualifications
- PRINCE2 or an equivalent qualification would be desirable.
- Experience working in a government department or an organisation of similar size and complexity.
- Practical knowledge of MS Project and requisitioning via an Oracle system.
- Experience analysing data and providing recommendations for the best course of action.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, organisational, communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise and schedule workload.
- Capability to develop positive relationships with customers, service providers and suppliers.
- Security clearance (SC) required.
