The role
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a varied owner-managed business client base
- Approximately 20–30% audit work, at a comparable technical level
- Involvement in audit planning, fieldwork, and completion
- Direct client contact, including explaining accounts, audit findings, and value‑added advice

The ideal candidate
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts production and review within practice
- Solid audit exposure (around 20% of current or recent workload)
- Strong technical grounding combined with clear, confident communication skills
- Commercially aware, with the ability to spot opportunities and build trusted client relationships
- Ambitious, personable, and keen to progress within an independent firm environment
