QC Micro Analyst

Baxter Thetford is looking for a candidate to work in the QC Microbiology Team. The role involves supporting Sterility, Water and Mixes, Bioburden, Endotoxin, and Environmental monitoring testing required during various stages of the manufacturing of products at Thetford.

You will work rotating shifts, week 1: 9 AM–5 PM and week 2: 5 AM–1 PM, with 1 in 8 weekends and time off in lieu. You will be eligible for overtime at premium rates of pay.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with testing on various process samples
• Participating in any required laboratory investigations as needed
• Following Good Quality Control Laboratory Practices at all times and ensuring the work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state
• Providing support to the supervisor in any reasonable request related to laboratory operation

Qualifications

• Microbiology degree essential
• Experience working in a laboratory
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
