What You’ll Do
Markets Operations offers a career in global finance with opportunities for growth. You will work with teams worldwide to ensure client trades are processed quickly and accurately. We are also embracing new AI tools to continue improving our workflows. As an entry‑level colleague, you may be assigned to one of the functions below:
- Equities Middle Office – ensures stock trades are processed smoothly after they occur.
- FX Operations – manages foreign‑exchange transactions, ensuring currency trades settle accurately.
- Futures & Derivatives Clearing – guarantees and settles complex contracts across markets to reduce risk.
- OTC Derivatives Settlements & Cash Management – handles payments for privately negotiated derivatives and manages associated cash flow.
- Securities Settlements – confirms the accurate buying, selling and ownership transfer of financial instruments.
- Asset Servicing – manages events related to owned investments to ensure clients receive entitlements.
- Fixed Income & Commodities Operations – supports the operational side of debt instruments and raw materials.
- Margins Operations & Collateral Optimization – manages collateral required for trades and uses it efficiently.
- Books & Records Oversight – ensures all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained for compliance and reporting.
- Process Engineering – designs, analyses and improves operational processes to enhance efficiency.
- Client Facilitation – acts as the primary contact for clients, resolving queries and smoothing operational issues.
What We’ll Need From You
- Communication & Drive – excellent communication, teamwork, a positive attitude and a strong eagerness to learn.
- Analytical & Organizational – detail‑oriented, committed to accuracy, with foundational analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Technical Interest – proficient in Microsoft Office, keen interest in AI tooling, data analysis, process optimisation and automation.
