Overview

This post is fixed term for 6 months. Sandwell Council’s HR Division is seeking a proactive Job Analyst on a 6 months fixed-term contract. The organisation operates to a hybrid working model. The purpose of the role is to lead and deliver high-quality, consistent, and defensible job evaluation outcomes across the Council using the Gauge online Job Evaluation System, ensuring compliance with equal pay legislation and best practice.

The postholder will operate with a high degree of professional autonomy, evaluating roles up to manager level on the NJC pay grade, advising senior managers and trade unions, and chairing Job Evaluation Quality Assurance Panels. The role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the Council’s grading structure and supporting wider organisational change and workforce transformation.
