About the Role
OMD’s Decisions Science team plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients realise the full potential of their marketing investment for maximum growth.
This role is for someone with a background in analytics or econometric modelling who wants to grow their capabilities and develop their career. It will suit a candidate who is passionate about data and analytics, wants to apply early career skills to real world business questions, and has an ambition to learn and grow in a collaborative team that takes a creative approach to analytic problem solving.
Econometrics remains the bedrock of marketing science, but we are always extending the capabilities and outputs of what we deliver to our clients. We will work with you to develop your technical and professional skills as you work on live projects for some of the most interesting clients in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in telling stories with data within presentations and through supporting the delivery of data handling, econometric modelling, and analytical projects.
- Ensure delivery is technically robust and that all outputs from analysis are fit for purpose, consistent, and accurate.
- Develop relationships across the agency and broader analytics community to learn about clients’ businesses and drive insights.
- Collaborate with other specialist services, agency teams, and wider analytics teams to feed into the development of new approaches and techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- Background in analytics or econometric modelling.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with experience in econometrics.
- Proficiency in a mix of tools: R, SQL, Python, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant approaches.
- Ability to present insightful stories with data and deliver results to deadline.
- Organised, self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast‑paced agency environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to ask for help when needed and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Benefits
Flexible working model: hybrid schedule with three days in office and two days working remotely. Standard working hours are 9:30–17:30, with flexibility around core hours of 10:30–16:30. Employees can adjust start and finish times to suit personal and professional needs.
