We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent practice located near Hampstead Heath.

Overview

Our practice boasts state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including a modern dental suite, in‑house IDEXX laboratory, X‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and bronchoscopy equipment. We are recognised for delivering exceptional care and nurturing a supportive team that values continuous learning and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine surgeries and veterinary medical services.
• Manage emergency cases and provide timely clinical support.
• Collaborate with visiting specialists in cardiology, imaging, orthopaedics and soft‑tissue surgery.
• Mentor and support colleagues as needed.
• Deliver 20‑ to 30‑minute consultations with a focus on personalised patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Surgeon.
• Confidence and competence in routine surgeries, medicine and emergency handling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Working Hours & Rota

• 4‑day week with no out‑of‑hours service.
• 1:3 Saturdays with time off in lieu.
• Regular 20‑ to 30‑minute consultations.
