Gas Engineer – Service & Breakdown (Temp to Perm)
Location: Waltham ForestSchedule: Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week
The Role
We currently have a vacancy with one of our leading Housing Association clients for an exiting temp-to-perm opportunity. This is a fantastic chance to secure long-term, stable work within the social housing sector without the pressure of call-out duties.
Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs, servicing and fault finding on domestic gas boilers and appliances
- Complete 6-8 jobs per day on average
- Work efficiently using a PDA system
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Work in Waltham Forest social housing properties
- Adhere to Monday – Friday schedule and 42.5 hours per week
- No call-out rota
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in heating/gas engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience within social housing
- Up-to-date gas qualifications (essential)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Checkable references
- Full availability Monday to Friday
