Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) – Cullompton

Days: 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday

Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established and successful manufacturer based in the Cullompton area. Founded over 200 years ago, this company can offer long-term job security. There is scope in the future to move into a supervisory role.

For this role, you will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with knowledge and experience of 3-phase electrics; candidates from any electrical background will be considered. Additional mechanical experience on hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on a range of heavy machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance with one week in four dedicated to this activity.
• Work with single-phase, three-phase electrics and drives; some machinery is PLC-driven and involves control systems (experience is not essential).
• Carry out electrical work around the facility as required, including lighting and cameras.

Qualifications and Experience

• Electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience from any electrical background.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrics; hydraulic and pneumatic systems are advantageous.

The Maintenance Engineer candidate should be prepared for a days-based role and be committed to health and safety and continuous improvement.
