Airco are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer, with a positive and pro-active approach to ensure effective service delivery to our clients.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced F‑Gas Airconditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to support our growing Engineering team.

You will be part of a team of Engineers who support Airco in providing a service to our growing and highly prestigious client base in the Leeds and surrounding areas. The role will be very varied from carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to responding to service calls.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Mobile engineer
• Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
• Work to the highest standards of workmanship and safetyTake part in 24hr call out rota
• Assist in site surveys, reports and quotes for new & existing customers.
• Qualifications and Skills

Key requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Refrigeration, you will be F‑Gas/EN 378 compliant
• Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principles
• An individual with hands‑on experience working with VRV systems, cold rooms, close control units, chilled water systems, and chillers.
• Fault finding experience on range of equipment, including data centre cooling & water chillers
• Good understanding of industry standards, legislation and compliance requirements
• Positive and pro‑active approach
• Well‑organised and effective communicator
• High level of professionalism & customer service
