Quality Engineer – Design QA

Job Overview

Quality Engineer at Abbott Diabetes Care in Witney, UK will support the Design Quality Assurance function across R&D, Technical Services, Clinical, Product Integrity, and Sterilisation global teams. This role ensures that site products meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements through design verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Support the performance assessment of new and current products
• Review clinical study documentation
• Support development and execution of Test Method Validations
• Aide the development of sterile barrier and packaging system advancements and their impact on biocompatibility

Qualifications

Degree qualified in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, engineering).

Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment.

Proactive, initiative‑driven, able to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team in a regulated, quality‑driven environment.
