This role is best suited to an LED Electrical Design Engineer looking to take ownership of lighting designs within a rapidly expanding business that offers strong progression and industry recognition. This position is ideal for someone who can produce compliant electrical designs, support project delivery and ensure high standards across a range of LED upgrade programmes. Enjoy a varied role working on high-value LED retrofit and installation projects across the UK.

Our client specialises in the delivery of large-scale LED lighting upgrades, alongside wider renewable technologies including Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Working with leading technology and blue‑chip clients, they deliver energy‑efficiency solutions across commercial and industrial environments. Responsibilities

• Produce compliant LED lighting designs across commercial projects
• Ensure designs comply with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and BS 5266 (Emergency Lighting)
• Produce wiring schematics, load calculations, circuit schedules
• Support installation sign‑off and technical compliance

Qualifications

• Proven experience producing LED electrical designs
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and BS 5266
• Relevant electrical qualifications
• Commutable to Reading
