Engineering Manager

Location: London (hybrid 1 day a week on-site)

Length of Contract: 6 Months initially

I’m currently supporting a fast-scaling consumer tech business on a search for a Contract Engineering Manager – Service Engineering.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong SRE / Platform / Infrastructure background who can lead a very experienced team through a key period of cloud transformation.

The role will suit someone who:

• Has led Service Engineering / SRE / DevOps teams in production environments
• Has experience with legacy infrastructure and modern cloud platforms
• Can operate as the bridge between a highly technical team and the wider business
• Brings strong skills in prioritisation, stakeholder management, reliability and operational leadership
• Is comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment

This is not a role for a micromanager or someone wanting to stay heavily hands-on day to day. The team is senior, capable and technically strong - they need an experienced leader who can provide context, direction, communication and support.
