Responsibilities
As a Fashion Design Tutor in our Adult Education Service, you can make your own powerful contribution to people across Westminster. You will be responsible for providing high‑quality teaching and learning experiences on our graphic design provision, supporting, inspiring and challenging learners to fulfil their full potential.
Day‑to‑day, you will design resources and deliver them to learners, tracking their progress and providing advice and guidance through one‑to‑ones and tutorials. You will carry out marking and assessments, working proactively to maximise outcomes and identify progression opportunities for learners.
This is an hourly paid role, covering Thursdays 09:30am – 16:30pm from 17th September.
You will be responsible for delivering all elements of the programme, providing support and guidance to the learners, ensuring they are challenged, inspired, complete their work in a timely manner, and excel in achievement.
Qualifications
An established professional with a recognised teaching qualification (Level 3), and a qualification in fashion design at Level 4 or above, you’ve taught adults on accredited courses.
With the proven ability to engage, inspire and motivate diverse groups of learners across mixed abilities, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding learner experience that prioritises the growth and development of your students.
Bringing some knowledge of current fashion design practice, you’ll be a person passionate about helping adult learners develop new skills, progress and achieve their goals.
