One of London's leading MEP contractors is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the team on a Shell & Core commercial development in Paddington.

Role Overview

Working as part of the project delivery team, you will take responsibility for the technical and pre‑construction elements of the electrical package, supporting the successful delivery of the project from planning through to installation.

The role requires a technically strong candidate with proven experience managing specialist packages, overseeing technical submittals, and supporting pre‑construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical delivery of electrical packages on site
• Coordinate and manage specialist subcontractor packages
• Prepare and review technical submittals
• Support pre‑construction planning, procurement, and technical coordination
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
• Ensure installations comply with design, programme, and specification
• Support commissioning and handover processes
• Monitor quality and resolve technical issues throughout delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within the MEP / building services sector
• Strong experience managing specialist packages
• Good understanding of pre‑construction processes
• Experience producing and managing technical submittals
• Strong technical and coordination skills
• Background on Shell & Core commercial projects preferred

Candidates must have strong technical project engineering experience to be considered.
