Refrigeration Service Engineer – Reading

£45,000 – £50,000 Basic + Excellent Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a well‑established contractor covering Reading. This role offers strong earning potential, job security, and clear progression within a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of refrigeration systems
• Fault finding and reactive works
• Split between retail and leisure environments
• Covering Reading and surrounding areas
• On‑call rota: 1 in 4

Requirements

• Time‑served apprenticeship
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & AC
• F‑Gas (C&G 2079 or equivalent)
• Experience within commercial refrigeration
• CO₂ experience highly desirable – training can be provided
• Full UK Driving Licence

Package

• £45,000 – £50,000 basic
• 40‑hour week
• Paid travel
• 33 days holiday
