Job Description

Main purpose of the job: Assist with the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance and functionality requirements of operating anaerobic digesters.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on anaerobic digestion plants throughout the United Kingdom
• Monitor and diagnose problems using the plant operation system
• Assist in setting up associated systems and conduct repairs/adjustments when necessary
• Maintain feeding, heating, and pumping systems to ensure correct and efficient operation
• Inspect and test alarm and functionality systems
• Follow safe systems of work and procedures
• Keep client sites clean and tidy
• Complete paperwork as required by the Maintenance Manager
• Take samples as required and advised by the Biological Support Team

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical CompEx F and 01-04 Electrical (Desirable)
• Proven experience as an electrical technician
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
• Knowledge of electrical panel components, PLC hardware and software, electrical building services (desirable)
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem‑solving skills
• Full driving licence
