We are partnering with a well-established, forward‑thinking building services company and are recruiting an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Ipswich. Key Responsibilities
- Design and specification of electrical building services systems (LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, etc.)
- Competently using AutoCAD & Revit
- Prepare technical drawings, calculations and reports
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion
- Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Contribute to sustainable and energy‑efficient design solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (HNC)
- Proven experience in a similar role within building services
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
