Recruitment Consultant – Engineering

We’re partnering with a well‑established recruitment business that’s looking to add an experienced Recruitment Consultant to its Sheffield‑based engineering office. The office is home to five consultants and is known for its relaxed, welcoming culture where quality always comes before quantity.

This is a genuinely grown‑up environment – no KPIs, no micromanagement, and no pointless call targets. The focus is on building relationships, delivering well, and doing recruitment properly.

The Role:

This is not a trainee position. We’re looking for someone who already understands the recruitment process and can add value from day one:

• Background in engineering recruitment is essential (perm OR temp)
• Comfortable managing client and candidate relationships autonomously
• Values quality over volume – they’d rather see 10 meaningful calls a week than 100 for the sake of it
• Happy in a fully office‑based role

• Salary up to £38,000 DOE
• Uncapped commission structure
• Office hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm/ Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm finish
