Human Resources Business Partner

We’re looking for a commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping our people agenda.

About the Role

As HR Business Partner, you will work in true partnership with senior leaders and managers across the business to co-create, implement, and embed Xaar’s People Strategy. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping to build organisational capability, drive performance, and deliver real business impact.

This is a broad and influential role where you’ll balance strategic thinking with hands‑on operational HR delivery across UK and global stakeholders.

On a typical day you’ll be:

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to implement the Xaar People Strategy
• Leading organisational design and annual workforce planning for your areas
• Providing expert HR advice and coaching to line managers on performance, change, and employee relations
• Managing complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence) with confidence and commercial awareness
• Driving initiatives to boost employee engagement, inclusion, talent development, and succession planning
• Leading HR input into business change projects
• Continuously improving HR processes for greater efficiency
• Delivering insightful people metrics and dashboards to demonstrate impact

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years’ experience as an HR Business Partner
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing end‑to‑end employee relations in a non‑unionised environment
• Experience operating at a strategic and operational level, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environment (highly desirable)
• CIPD qualified (or working towards) – desirable
• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to balance multiple priorities
