Overview
We are hiring! Our Legal Support team is in the market for a Practice Support Manager to support a specific legal department and its legal support staff allocated to this team. Based out of our Nottingham office, this is a high-impact management role, where you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of a first-class legal support service.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Practice Assistants and Team Assistants; manage performance, wellbeing and workload allocation to ensure consistent service excellence.
- Work closely with fee earners and senior stakeholders; build strong client relationships and understand client-specific requirements; balance priorities across a busy practice area.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes and systems, driving efficiencies, leading department projects and championing best practice; stay up to date with regulatory developments and evolving client needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in a management position within a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong people leadership skills; ability to manage competing priorities under pressure; proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
