As a Home Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain a warm, caring environment geared to meeting individual needs and providing the opportunity for maximum independence, while respecting the rights of individuals to privacy, freedom of choice, and personal expression.
- Maintain all legal and statutory records, including insurance certificates, registration certificates, and all compliance documentation required for the home.
- Investigate complaints, compile reports, and take appropriate action when necessary, liaising with CQC inspectors and ensuring regulatory compliance in all areas.
- Ensure all records required by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and subsequent legislation are accurate, up to date, and available for inspection by the Inspection Officer or designated authorities.
- Oversee staffing requirements and be responsible for recruiting suitable employees for the team working in the home.
- Conduct effective inductions and identify and meet training needs for all team members.
- Carry out regular supervisions, assessments, lead team meetings, ensuring the care home is friendly and supportive.

- Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (e.g., RMA)
- Experience as a Registered Manager
- Experience managing a Care/Nursing Home for older people
- Experience working with budgets and business plans
- Appropriate levels of skill in Maths & English
