The Company

We’re partnering with a fast‑growing organisation operating within the urban mobility space, supporting the rollout and day‑to‑day operation of a major bike hire scheme across Birmingham.

With significant investment going into sustainable transport and city infrastructure, the business is scaling its on‑the‑ground operations team to support increasing demand and ensure the network runs efficiently.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage of growth in Birmingham, playing a key role in keeping the city moving.

The Role

This is a hands‑on, outdoor role where you’ll be responsible for supporting the daily operation of a city‑wide e‑bike and scooter network.

You’ll be working independently across Birmingham, using an electric cargo bike to carry out a range of operational tasks that keep the service running smoothly.

This role suits someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and taking ownership of their day.

What you’ll be doing

• Moving bikes and scooters around the city to make sure they’re where people actually need them.
• Swapping out batteries so everything stays up and running throughout the day.
• Picking up any damaged or faulty vehicles and bringing them back in.
• Keeping an eye on the condition of the fleet and sorting simple fixes as you go.
• Using an app to manage your tasks and keep everything updated in real time.
• Getting around Birmingham on an electric cargo bike as part of your day‑to‑day.

Profile of Person

We’re looking for reliable, self‑motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors and can manage their own time effectively.

This role is well suited to someone who prefers being active and out on the road rather than in a static indoor environment.
