What You’ll Do as an Operations Manager
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Work with our 3PL partner to deliver an industry leading safety culture creating a great and safe place to work.
- Consistent delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) through continuous improvement and collaboration with third party logistics partners
- Work cross functionally with the digital and tech teams to drive continuous improvement into our click and collect pick and pack process.
- Consistently deliver world class service and accuracy to our customers
- Create and deliver an innovation plan that ensures the distribution centre is fit for the future through the delivery of new technology and automation
- Work collaboratively whilst holding third party logistics and transport providers accountable to contractual KPI’s and metrics
- Influence and deliver against agreed commercial targets and budgeted expenditure
- Develop commercial proposals for automation and mechanisation projects that streamline the operation as volume grows.
- Analyse data to understand the impact of changes to business strategy on the operation and represent the logistics function in the decision‑making process
