Property Maintenance Manager for Hastoe Housing Association

About the role

Reporting to the Property Director, the Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of responsive repairs and void works across Hastoe's East Region. The role ensures services are customer-focused, compliant with legislation and policy, and delivered within agreed budgets and performance targets.

This is a senior operational role with responsibility for leading and developing a team of Property Maintenance Surveyors and Maintenance Assistants, and working alongside the Contracts Manager to drive continuous improvement across repairs, damp and mould, and void services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Property Maintenance Surveyors to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused responsive repairs and void services.
• Set and manage regional budgets for responsive repairs and voids, ensuring services are delivered within agreed financial controls.
• Manage repairs and maintenance contracts, working closely with the Contracts Manager and Performance Manager to monitor performance and enforce contractual standards.
