About the Night Manager role
Night Manager, reporting into the Store Manager, responsible for ensuring stores are customer‑ready during night operations and leading a team of colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Lead and empower colleagues to put the customer first and deliver outstanding service.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and take corrective actions.
- Maintain market‑leading availability across the store.
- Collaborate with other managers to foster a supportive, performance‑driven department.
- Manage staffing routines, scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations.
- Deliver training to build team capability and confidence.
- Enable colleagues to work confidently across various departments.
- Identify and nurture talent within the department.
- Build effective relationships with other operating departments.
- Drive performance and achieve targets across the department(s).
- Take a leadership role within the store.
- Plan resources thoroughly.
