Senior Business Analyst

£550‑600 pd Inside IR35 | Remote in UK | Initially until end of June 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support business analysis activities across the Transaction Monitoring programme.
  • Complete and shape a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) view, incorporating financial and cost‑modelling considerations.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of data, interfaces, and required system integrations as part of implementing the Group screening solution to replace Prime in the US.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with target architecture and regulatory needs.
  • Assess migration implications, including data mapping, dependency analysis, and operational impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Solution Architects, ensuring requirements are well understood and deliverable.
  • Help identify and articulate key cost drivers, risks, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Provide senior‑level input and challenge to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and scalable at a Group level.
  • Support governance activities, including workshops, walk‑throughs, and stakeholder presentations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, within banking or financial services.
  • Strong background in Transaction Monitoring, financial crime, AML.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, system interfaces, and integrations in complex technology landscapes.
  • Experience contributing to or shaping TCO models, business cases, or cost assessments.
  • Ability to bridge business, technology, and operational stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience working on system replacement or transformation programmes.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to Group‑wide screening or monitoring solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory expectations related to Transaction Monitoring.
  • Experience working alongside solution architecture and delivery teams in complex programmes.
