Estimator (Ventilation / HVAC)
Location: Belfast
Salary: £30,000 £40,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-Time – Permanent
The Role
We are working with a well-established HVAC contractor seeking an Estimator to join their growing team. Youll play a key role in pricing ventilation projects across commercial, domestic, and industrial sectors, working closely with commercial and design teams to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for ventilation projects
- Review mechanical drawings and specifications
- Carry out site surveys and assess project requirements
- Advise on technical specifications and pricing
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
- Track and manage estimate progress and deadlines
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations & fire standards (BS476 / EN1366)
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in an estimating role (HVAC desirable)
- Strong understanding of ventilation systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (estimating software desirable)
