An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed, trauma-informed childrens residential home, providing high-quality, individualised care in a structured and nurturing environment.


This is a unique opportunity to manage a small, focused service, allowing you to prioritise stability, therapeutic care and meaningful outcomes for young children.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a childrens residential home in line with NI regulations
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding and child-centred care
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary staff team
  • Maintain compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations (NI) 2005 & Minimum Standards (2023)
  • Oversee care planning, supervision, and reflective practice
  • Manage rotas, budgets and regulatory reporting
  • Lead inspections and continuous improvement
  • Represent the home in LAC reviews and professional meetings


Essential Criteria

  • Qualification in Social Work or relevant health & social care discipline
  • Current NISCC registration
  • Minimum 2 years management/leadership experience
  • Experience within residential childcare or similar setting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
