About you:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (final stage students may be considered)
- Recently trained in practice or industry
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
What you'll do:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Assist with audits, liaising with auditors to ensure compliance
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance team
- Provide financial support and advice to other departments
- Assist with compliance related to sales tax and tax regulations
- Support statutory filings and audits
- Help with grant funding applications and interdepartmental financial relationships
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust financial controls and procedures
