Head of Commercial Strategy & Analytics London | £145,000 + Equity

The Company

We’re partnering exclusively with a high-growth, venture-backed technology business that is redefining how consumers, businesses and manufacturers access and consume electronics. With a differentiated model built around sustainability and circular consumption, the business has established itself as a category leader in the UK and has significant international ambitions for 2026 and beyond.

This is a founder-led business with serious commercial momentum, and the leadership team are now looking to bring in a senior commercial strategy hire to help them scale intelligently.

The Role

As Head of Commercial Strategy & Analytics, you’ll own the analytical and strategic engine behind the business’s commercial decision-making. This is a genuinely broad remit — you’ll be the senior voice on how the business evaluates growth opportunities, structures its customer propositions, approaches new partnerships, and builds the data foundations that allow the wider organisation to move faster and smarter.

Pricing forms one important element of this role, but this is not a pure pricing position. The business is looking for someone who can operate across the full commercial agenda — someone equally comfortable in the detail of the data as they are presenting strategic recommendations to founders and C-Suite.

You’ll report directly to the VP of Strategy & Analytics and will play a key role in building out a world-class commercial analytics function as the business scales globally.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Defining and leading the commercial analytics function, with the opportunity to build and grow a team over time
  • Providing analytical and strategic input across customer proposition design, market expansion, and partnership evaluation
  • Championing data-informed decision-making across commercial, finance and engineering teams
  • Acting as a senior strategic partner to the leadership team, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Taking full ownership of outcomes across the remit — this is a role for someone who leads from the front

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience across analytics, commercial strategy, or data-focused roles — ideally with exposure to more than one of these disciplines
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using SQL and Python to pull insights
  • A degree (2:1 or above) from a leading university, preferably in a STEM or quantitative subject
  • The ability to move fluidly between detailed analysis and high-level strategic thinking
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine sense of ownership — you hold yourself accountable for the work and the results
