Managing Director BioPharma Product Testing UK – Full-time.

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable. Eurofins BioPharma International Business Line covers the whole chain of drug development including preclinical and clinical phases to market release, with a focus on Early Development, Central Laboratory Services, and BioPharma Product Testing. Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing UK Limited provides high quality testing and development services to the pharma industry with a flexible team working with customers at every stage to provide tailored analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the BioPharma Testing business in the UK, which currently consists of 2 sites in Scotland and the South of England.
• Develop a high-quality strategic plan with challenging, achievable and fact-based milestones, quickly becoming hands-on if things derail.
• Lead and facilitate the sales and marketing activities and become a trusted and reliable partner to customers.
• Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, productivity and bottom-line results.
• Initiate and drive change, setting up action plans with clear-cut distribution of responsibilities.
• Hire, motivate, develop and retain excellent Business Unit Managers and department heads.
• Drive M&A due-diligence initiatives and post-merger integration programs.

Qualifications

• Background: You bring a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, of which at least 2 years have been in a full P&L management role, with operations and commercial teams under your responsibility. You have demonstrated experience of leading change and developing, coaching and motivating teams of 30+ people.
• Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant business management, engineering or life sciences discipline.
• Language: English proficiency is a must.
• Location: You are based in the UK and are open to travel to our sites in Scotland and the South of England.
