This one‑year post, which may be extended to a second year, is designed to give clinicians planning a career in uro‑orology the opportunity to extend their experience in complex urological surgery. Fellows will receive extensive surgical training in both minimally invasive and open procedures, enabling them to perform both with competence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the unit’s clinical work, including outpatient clinics, diagnostic procedures, multi‑disciplinary team meetings, day‑case and inpatient operating, emergency care, and ward rounds.
• Perform work under the supervision of consultant urologists.
• Contribute to the Urology middle‑grade on‑call rota at Royal Liverpool Hospital, which operates weekdays day and night cover and weekend cover.
