A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Bristol, with a specialist focus on Energy sector work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward thinking and ambitious practice that is experiencing significant growth in the energy market.
The Role
You will play a key role within the Transactional Real Estate team, working closely with major developer and landowner clients across a range of energy asset types. Responsibilities include:
- Acting for key developer and landowner clients in the Energy sector
- Advising on ground mounted and rooftop solar, BESS, wind and other renewable assets
- Supporting corporate and commercial teams on portfolio acquisitions, disposals and financing
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the firm’s Energy sector offering
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Bristol office and wider network
- Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior real estate lawyer with:
- At least 7+ years’ PQE in commercial real estate, with significant Energy sector experience
- Strong technical expertise and a commercial, solutions focused approach
- A genuine interest in developing and expanding the firm’s Energy offering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational ability and experience managing competing priorities
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- Self motivation, initiative and a commitment to professional growth
- Flexibility and adaptability within a fast moving, evolving sector
