Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a well-established medium sized consultancy looking for an Associate Director or Technical Director in the Infrastructure sector.

This consultancy requires an experienced leader due to an expanding workload. The role will involve leading an established team in delivering highways and infrastructure schemes in both public and private sectors, including regeneration schemes, development infrastructure, local authority frameworks, national highways, and projects for private developers. Our client is currently working on three large award-winning mixed‑use developments and maintains sustainable urban regeneration schemes across London and surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities will be to oversee the development and delivery of projects, manage an existing client base whilst growing and developing new relationships. The incumbent should have business development experience, tender writing and a proven record of winning work.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and delivery of projects
  • Manage an existing client base and develop new relationships
  • Generate new business and network
  • Client management and liaison with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies and other third parties, including external design team members
  • Carry out, review and check technical agreements including S278 and S38 agreements
  • Write project and technical reports and communicate effectively
  • Supervise and guide your team and other junior teams
  • Work to deadlines, within budget and to programme
  • Act as the discipline lead for larger framework projects
  • Support the leading Directors in the management of the office

Qualifications

  • Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
  • Multi‑disciplinary project and team management skills
  • Experience in client management
  • Experience of working within project teams
