The Role
Due to the increase in bid volume my client are creating two new Bid/Senior Bid Manager roles to oversee the production and management of bid responses in the UK. This includes hard, soft, TFM and IFM type bids with both private and public sector organisations. Managing the full cradle to grave bid process to ensure the production of high-quality, winning bids to support the business plan. The role includes the management of other Bid Team colleagues and work winning activity. This is a hybrid role with some travel to UK wide offices as and when necessary.
Key Accountabilities
Liaise with and assist the Head of Estimating and Bids in the Bid / No Bid process, providing information on the availability of Bid Team Resources and ability to fulfil the Client’s criteria. Supporting the Head of Estimating and Bids with the day to day management of the bid team including supporting development of the bid team Review written responses and provide constructive feedback to authors in line with the Win Strategy and Storyboard requirements as part of the formal reviews process.
TheCandidate
The successful candidate will need prior experience of managing FM bids in a similar role, this can be hard, soft or TFM and with public or private sector clients or both. You can be based in most parts of the country as they have a spine of offices across the UK you can visit when necessary. This is a hybrid role and the candidate will have to be a great communicator, motivated, and have a proven track record of success in the FM market.
